What’s up everyone? The week leading up to a fight is always a hectic time. Luckily I’ve been working with a great group of guys up here that it’s been as smooth as ever. I’m ready to go!
A lot has happened since my last post, I’m sad that I missed the fights in SD, but I heard they were great. I miss San Diego and my team at Alliance, but I’ve had a great time training at AKA.
A few days ago Jon Fitch and I made the drive to Oakland to sign all of the necessary papers with the Athletic Commission. I just can’t wait to get in the cage!
On a side note, I’ll get back to my fight in a second, I just want to give a shout out to my Pirates who scored a HUGE win over the Reds yesterday, I’m hopin’ for another one this afternoon!!
I just want to take the time to thank all my fans, and the UFC’s fans. I was told that a recent poll ranked me the number 1 up and coming fighter and I know that if it wasn’t for the fans I wouldn’t have received that honor. Because it truly is an honor to fight in front of the best fans in the world.
Well, the weigh-ins are in 2 days and the fight is in 3. Who’s all coming to the weigh-ins? If you’re in the area please stop by! Who’s coming to the fights? Let me know! I won’t be able to post anything new until after the fight, but be sure to check back here afterwards!!
If you can’t make it to the fights, tune in either on Spike or on PPV, hopefully my fight will be televised! But there should be some great fights on Saturday night regardless.
